Takoradi Technical University Distance Education Admission Forms for 2021/2022 Academic Year

The management of Takoradi Technical University wishes to announce to the general public the ongoing Distance Education admission. Admissions in the school are open in preparation to pick students for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Distance education is introduced to help provide alternative learning opportunities for workers, professionals and other servicing technicians who cannot enrol on the university’s regular academic calendar.

Higher National Diploma Programmes (HND)

• Accountancy
• Marketing
• Purchasing & Supply
• Secretaryship & Management Studies

Summary of Entry Requirements

SSSCE/WASSCE Applicants

Applicants must have six (6) passes (A-D) in all subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science and, at least, three (3) passes in relevant elective subjects to their area of specialisation.

WASSCE Applicants

Applicants must have six passes (A1-D7) in all subjects, including English Language and Mathematics and must possess a minimum of C6 in any three (3) of the passes relevant to their area of specialisation.

Mature Applicants

Mature applicants into all HND programmes must satisfy the following:
Candidates must be 25 years of age at the time of the submission of the application form and must pass a mature entrance examination.

The date for the entrance examinations will be communicated to qualified applicants.

Applicants may purchase the forms at the University’s Directorate of Finance. (Mode of Payment – CASH) or at any branch of the banks below:

• Zenith Bank
• United Bank of Africa (UBA) across the country
