UENR Undergraduates Admission Forms for 2022/2023 Academic Year

The UENR Undergraduates Admission Forms for 2022/2023 Academic Year are out for applicants to purchase and apply for admission. The admission portal is open to all applicants who want to apply as undergraduates.

Applicants can purchase that application form or voucher at any point of sales and proceed to apply using the online application portal.

WASSCE AND SSSCE APPLICANTS

SSSCE holders with credit passes (A-D) in English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus credit passes (A-D) in Three Elective Subjects relevant to the programme of study with an aggregate score of 24 or better.
WASSCE holders with credit passes (A1-C6) in English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus credit passes (A1-C6) in Three Elective Subjects relevant to the programme of study with an aggregate score of 36 or better.

GENERAL BUSINESS CERTIFICATE

GBCE holders with credit passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects including English Language and Mathematics plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.

ADVANCED LEVEL

The holders with credit in at least five (5) subjects at the GCE ‘O’ Level (or it is equivalent) including English and Mathematics, plus at least two passes in the subjects relevant to the programme of study.

FOREIGN APPLICANTS

Applicants who have any of the above qualifications or their equivalences from an accredited/recognized institution.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Other qualifications acceptable for consideration include International Baccalaureate (IB), IGCSE, American Grade 13 Examinations, and other external qualifications which have equivalences to the WASSCE/SSSCE and the GCE (A Levels).

UENR Awaiting Forms for 2022/2023 Academic Year

Final Year students who will be writing their WASSCE from August to October 2022 can also apply. Such applicants must select “Awaiting Results” in place of the grade in the online application portal.

UENR Two Year Diploma Programme Entry Requirements

SSSCE holders with passes (A-E) in all subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus 3 passes (A-E) in Three Elective Subjects relevant to the programme of study.
WASSCE holders with passes (A1-D7) in English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus passes (A1-D7) in Three Elective Subjects relevant to the programme of study.

Mature Applicants

Applicants must:

be at least 25 years old and show proof of age with a birth certificate or any legitimate documentary proof of date of birth.
pass Mature Students’ Entrance Examinations conducted by the institution itself (English Language, Mathematics, and an Aptitude Test).
possess any of the following:
- SSSCE/WASSCE,
- Teacher’s Cert. ‘A’
- NVTI/NABPTEX Certificates

The cost of an e-voucher is Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS200) available at the following sale points:

How to Complete UENR Online Application Form

All applicants are to complete the online admission application at www.uenr.edu.gh using the Application Number and Pin.

Steps:

Purchase Application Voucher
Log on to uenr.edu.gh and on the application link enter the Application Number and PIN

On the next page select the admission type (e.g. Undergraduate-WASSCE/SSSCE, Undergraduate-HND, Diploma, etc.).
Change the default PIN on the Voucher to your own PIN (PIN must be a minimum of 8 characters)
Proceed to the personal data page and complete the application
Click submit after filling the online application form
Applicants will receive an SMS notification after submitting the online application.

How to Create an Account on UENR Admission Portal

Log into your e-mail and access your username and password
Follow the link in your e-mail to log in to the UENR ONLINE APPLICATION SYSTEM. You will be required to reset your password on your first login.
Login again with your new PIN
Click on a new application
Fill out the new Application Form
After submitting, print your details. The details could be printed later by logging in to your application portal (using your new PIN) through the link provided in your e-mail.

Applicants must purchase EMS envelopes from Ghana Post and send via post the completed APPLICATION FORM together with photocopies of certificates and result slip(s) to:

FEE-PAYING APPLICANTS

Applicants who do not meet the Competitive Requirements and Cut-Off Points but satisfy the Minimum Entry Requirements of Aggregate 24 and 36 or better for SSSCE and WASSCE applicants respectively may apply for the Fee Paying option. Applicants who wish to take advantage of the Fee Paying option should indicate when filling their Application Forms.
