With the motive of rewarding students’ talent in Nigeria, Niger Delta Development is offering the African Empowerment Scholarships for the academic year 2021-2022.
The grant is available to students who have completed secondary education with good to excellent grades.
The Niger Delta Development Commission is a federal government agency established to develop the oil-rich Niger Delta region of Nigeria. One of the core mandates of the Commission is to train and educate the youths of the oil-rich Niger Delta regions to curb hostilities and militancy while developing critical infrastructure to promote diversification and productivity.
