About Job:

We are seeking a creative and talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for visual storytelling and a strong command of video editing software. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that is suitable for broadcasting.

Job Responsibilities:

Editing

Edit video content to tell compelling stories, ensuring a seamless flow and a high-quality finished product.
Trim and cut footage segments to specified lengths, incorporating effective transitions and visual effects as needed.
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives.

Footage management:

Organize and manage video assets efficiently.
Review and select the best shots to create a coherent and visually appealing narrative.

Sound editing:

Ensure proper synchronization of audio and video elements.
Edit and mix audio tracks, adding sound effects and music to enhance the overall production.

Colour correction and grading:

Application of colour correction and grading techniques to enhance the visual appeal of the videos.
Maintain consistency in colour and style throughout the entire project.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the production team, directors, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.
Incorporate feedback from team members to refine and improve video content.

Job Requirements:

Technical skills:

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
Experience with Film Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

Proven experience as a Video Editor or a similar role.
A portfolio or reel showcasing previous work.

Creativity:

Strong creative and storytelling abilities.
A keen eye for detail, composition, and aesthetics.

Communication:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to take direction and work well in a team environment.
