College of Education Application Forms and Deadline date 2024/2025

The College of Education Admission forms for the 2024/205 Academic Year is been released. Therefore interested applicants are advised to pick a form and apply before the deadline date is due that is on Sunday, 31st August 2024.

Cost of Application Forms

Every individual applicant is to buy an E-voucher or a form through Mobile money or at a Commercial Bank. Each application form is GHC300.00

Programmes available:

  • B.Ed. Early Grade Education
  • B.Ed. Primary Education
  • B.Ed. JHS Education

Admission Requirements:

WASSCE /SSSCE Qualification Applicants

The requirements for admission into the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Programme is stated below:

For WASSCE: CREDIT PASSES (A1-C6) in Six (6)subjects comprising Three (3) Core subjects, including English Language and Core Mathematics, and Three (3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study.
For SSSCE: PASSES (A-D) in Six (6) subjects comprising Three (3) Core subjects, including English Language and Core Mathematics, and Three (3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study

General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level Applicants

Applicants must:

  • have passed in three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better).
  • have credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics, a Science subject (for non-science students), and an Arts subject (for Science students)

Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE) Applicants

Applicants must:

  • have passes in three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better).
  • have credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies in the General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE).

Technical and Vocational Education and Training Applicants

Applicants must:

  • Have a Certificate II in three (3) relevant trade areas awarded by TEU, NVTI, City & Guilds, and other authorized awarding bodies in addition to NABPTEX Certificate II in lieu of passes in English and Mathematics.
  • Have NABPTEX Certificate II in relevant trade areas in addition to three (3) credit passes in WASSCE/SSSCE core subjects including English and Mathematics.
  • Have a National Certificate II qualification in Competency-Based Training (CBT) in a relevant trade area awarded by TEU on the National TVET Qualification Framework (NTVETQF).

How to Apply:

Applicants are expected to make a payment of Three Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHC300.00) into the Colleges of Education- Ghana Account at any branch of the following named bank nationwide:

  • Consolidated Bank Ghana Limited or payment could also be made through mobile money by dialing short code *924*8# from all networks.
  • Applicants will be given an E-voucher card containing a Serial number and a PIN to be used for the application

  • Following the guidelines to fill, complete and submit your application.

Note: Applicants should select three Colleges of their choices and the program to offer with a Ghanaian Language
