The management of Ghana education service (GES) has released the 2023/2024 Academic year calendar for both Primary, JHS and senior high schools. The academic calendar comprises of reopening dates, vacation and other relevant holidays for the year under review.
All heads, teachers , parents and students can find the detailed calendar below.
According to the academic calendar schools are to re-open on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023. All students will spend 20 weeks each per semester to complete the session.
Latest 2024 GES Academic Calendar for Basics & SHS
- KG, Primary, and JHS (First Term) : 3rd October 2023 to 22nd December 2023
- KG, Primary, and JHS (Second Term): 9th January 2024 to 11th April 2024
- KG, Primary and JHS2 (Third Term): 30th April 2024 – 25th July 2024
- JHS 3 (Third term): 30th April 2024
