The Ghana Scholarships Secretariat was established in 1960 as an extra-ministerial body under the Office of the President mandated to administer all government scholarships both locally and abroad.
Applicants who applied when the 2021/2022 academic year window was open, have the results released. About 45,000 applicants have been awarded the scholarship.
Secretariat Scholarship List Released for Colleges of Education
How do you know that you have been awarded the scholarship? To know that you have been awarded the scholarship, there are two electronic ways and one traditional way.
These two electronic ways are:
- The first way is through SMS. When you are awarded the scholarship, you will receive a confirmatory message from ScholSec. You will be notified through the number you used during the application.
- One of the two ways is by checking the application status online. Click HERE to see how to check the status online. If you are offered the scholarship, the scholarship status will be shown as GRANTED.
NOTE:
When you don’t receive an SMS and also your status is shown as PENDING, kindly go to the notice board in your College and check for the list. Awardees’ lists are pasted on the notice board or find that out from the management.

When will they award the scholarship again some of us need help please
Is there any scholarship for tertiary students and how can I apply. Some of us are seriously looking for help about our education. In case you come across a scholarship way, please you let know. Because I don’t know the means yet to pay my next academic year fee. Looking at the situation is very very badly. So please help. Seriously life is hard.
