For the past year 2020, we have seen changes in our academic calendar. This changes is due to the unpleasant situation set up by COVID-19 pandemic. It has come and affected almost all aspect of life including education.
WASSCE is known to be written between April and June every academic year.
But in 2020, WASSCE school candidates wrote it between August and September. This caused the delay of he release of results and writing of WASSCE (PC).
But the good news is, WAEC has released the timetable for the examination
The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) is a type of standardized test in West Africa. Students who pass the exam receive a certificate confirming their graduation from secondary education.
This certificate give them the access to advance to higher level of education. They will be able to enter into any institution of their choice provided they meet the requirements.
It is administered by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC)
Going in accordance with the revised academic calendar, WASSCE is set to kick off between August and October for school candidates.
