Commencement of Lectures at UG Legon for the 2021/2022 Academic Year
The notice from the University of Ghana on the beginning of lectures for the 2021/2022 academic year reads as below:
The University community is informed that the Business and Executive Committee, at a meeting held on 23rd February 2022, approved a revised academic calendar for the 2021/2022 academic year.
With the revised calendar, academic work for the 2021/2022 academic year will commence from Monday, 28th February 2022. The approved calendar will be circulated soon.
Students, faculty, and staff should take note of this, in anticipation that the ongoing ratification processes of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) branches will finalize the suspension of the strike, as announced by their National Executive Committee.
