Will Allowance be Paid Again – Why the Delay in Payment of Allowance: For over 4 months, trainees at the Colleges of Education have not received the “dear trainee” alert.
A lot of questions have been raised as to whether trainees’ allowance will be paid or not. Let’s find out the state of the trainees’ allowance.
Will Allowance be Paid Again – Why the Delay in Payment of Allowance
TTAG has issued a statement concerning the delay in payment of the allowance. The union has begun working to ensure that the payment of allowance in arrears is made to beneficiaries.
SLTF has assured TTAg that it will accelerate the payment of the backlog for last semester to beneficiaries. It is their hope and expectation that, all processes are done by the close of the week.
SLTF has outlined some reasons for the delay in the payment of allowances. They found out that among some reasons, students’ information was mismatched, full pictures were uploaded instead of passport-size pictures, etc.
TTAG, therefore, encourages trainees to take their time to provide accurate information during application to avoid this kind of issue.
Trainees are also advised to complete their biometric registration as soon as possible. SRC of the various colleges should make enquiries from the IT unit of their institutions to know if details are sent to SLTF.
