How to Access Ghana Education Service GESMIS Platform
In a forward-thinking development, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has launched the Ghana Education Service Information Management System (GESMIS), granting access to GES staff to make changes and update their profile online making it more simple, convenient, and easier for staff to maintain current and accurate details.
This was an initiative that was introduced a year ago and it has come to stay. This ensures the commitment of the Ghana Education Service to move to a paperless environment with the introduction of a Smart Workplace System.
How to Access Ghana Education Service GESMIS Platform
The first step to access the digital workspace to update the details of GES is that GES will send a link via SMS to each staff member. The message will contain the login details which are your username which is your staff number and a temporary or OTP.
Follow the steps below to access the portal:
- After receiving the username and OTP, visit https://gesmis.org/dashboard/admin/login.php
- Enter your username (Staff Number) and the OTP (One Time Password)
- The dashboard will open.
- Tap on “Update Profile” to fill out the required forms.
- Save and Submit details
NOTE:
- Most of your details are pre-filled from your payslips and are non-editable.
- Your Ghana Card Number is mandatory for validation purposes.
How to Change Your Password on GESMIS
- After updating your details, go to the account settings.
- Tap your name and select “My Account”
- Locate change password
- Tap on Change password
- Change to your desired password and click on save.
- Log out and log in with the new password you created.
