How to Register for 2023 NOV/DEC
Do you want to write NOV/DEC in 2023? Do you know how to register for 2023 NOV/DEC? In this article, we will walk you through how to do so.
NOV/DEC is an examination organized by the WAEC council for candidates who wish to better their results or test themselves (SHS candidates).
It is called WASSCE Private Candidate examination (WASSCE PC). It comes once a year and mostly when the year is ending.
What is Needed for NOV/DEC 2023 Registration?
You are required to enter your personal information which includes:
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Region
- Email Address
- Postal Address
- Disability
How to Register for 2023 NOV/DEC
Prospective candidates are to follow the steps below to register:
- Candidates are required to capture their fingerprints at designated internet cafés to commence registration. The list of designated internet cafés can be obtained on the WAEC website, www.waecgh.org
- Open the registration website: www.waecgh.org
- Select the link to WASSCE for Private Candidates
- Click on START REGISTRATION HERE.
- Fill in the required security information data, i.e. password, security question, etc.
- Fill in your personal information.
- Upload your picture. (See 10 for details)
- Upload your signature.
- Select the Region and the Centre where you wish to take the examination.
- Select the subject(s) you intend to write.
- Print your voucher and send it to any of the banks listed in 17.
- Pay the appropriate fees at the bank or by visa card ONLINE.
- You will use your PIN/Invoice Number to access your Index Number and Admission Notice
WAEC Examination Centre and Subject Information for Nov/Dec
- In addition to Personal Information, you will be required to supply Centre and Subject Information
- Select the region and center at which you wish to write the examination. The exact venue will be assigned to you later.
- Select the subjects you wish to register for the examination. Please note that the maximum number of subjects allowed is 8.
Date for Nov/Dec 2023
The examination is scheduled to start on 31st October and end on 20th December. The Timetable may be accessed by downloading it from the registration interface.
WAEC Registration Period
The WAEC GCE registration is scheduled to close as follows;
- 11th May – 27th July, 2023, Registration and payment
- 28th – 31st July, 2023, Payment for normal registration only
