Some Likely Questions to be asked

In an interview at all, you need to prepare very well for the questions to be asked. The questions will not go outside the purpose of the interview. And hence, prepare for the following questions.

Tell us about yourself

This is a common interview question asked everywhere. Here, you aren’t required to give all details about yourself but just briefly. Here, for this purpose, I advise when you introduce yourself, then you go straight to telling your academic background as it is part of you. And also, make it clear to them about some of your skills.

Why are you applying for the scholarship?

Here, you need to tell them the main reason why you are applying for this scholarship. Go straight to the point, and make it known to them.

Why do you deserve this scholarship?

You deserve the scholarship because you have passion and persistence. Letting your passion show through in your answer allows the committee to see your dedication. You deserve this scholarship based on your love of learning, your enjoyment of your field. If you are not having fun, why are you there? Does the scholarship help get you closer to your life-long dream? Make sure to show the committee your passion, rather than telling them about it. Not only does it make you more memorable to the committee, but it shows them that you’re someone who will put the award to good use.

How will this scholarship help you?

A scholarship can make a big difference in your education. The money from a scholarship helps by allowing you to be more selective in how you spend your free time. Tell them the positive ways you will use the money given to you to make your academic strength rise. Tell them how it will help you improve your education and achieve a good career and attain your dream.

Know something about the current affairs and about your district and Region at large.

In an interview like this, the likelihood of them asking the question about current affairs is high. The questions to be asked on the current affair will mainly concern the education sector. So applicants have to know a bit about the education sector. Also, applicants are expected to know something about their region and district of residence. A question on that could be thrown to you.
